Helping business owners succeed has always been a driving force in James P. Beachboard’s work. During his more than 40 years of practice, he has helped investors and owners successfully address a myriad of legal issues relating to their real estate businesses.

James offers clients in-depth knowledge of this complex area of the law, including the contract, taxing and financing issues that often accompany real estate transactions. Whether buying, selling, leasing or developing real estate, clients turn to James for his ability to effectively negotiate and execute transactions on their behalf.

James’s practice also encompasses several other aspects of business and corporate law. He has successfully handled issues relating to bankruptcy, financing, banking, commercial financing and creditors’ rights.

After graduating from Georgetown Law School, James was as an aide to Senator John L. McClellan, the longest serving U.S. senator in Arkansas history. He went on to advocate for entrepreneurs and small business owners as district attorney for the Small Business Administration in Tennessee and later as district counsel for the Small Business Administration in Arkansas.

Clients and colleagues alike respect James’ legal accomplishments and his commitment to the field. He was named Super Lawyers’ Top-Rated Real Estate Attorney and AY Magazine’s Best Lawyers in America. In addition, he is a fellow of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys and has served on the Legal Opinions Committee of the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section.

James and his wife reside in Little Rock and have three sons and an Olde English Bulldogge named Henry.
